Our NGO conducts Skill Development Programmes, wherein we train poor and underprivileged women on skills like tailoring, knitting, weaving etc. Many poor women in rural areas face problems in running their livelihoods as they are financially weak. Majority of the women population consists of housewives. Inspite of having a lot of free time, they do not develop their skills due to lack of awareness, family pressure etc. Thus, we motivate poor women to attend vocational trainings to get a chance to develop personally as well as professionally. This boosts their self-confidence. Your support will help us to train 10 poor women for 7 days. Trainer’s honorarium (Rs. 400 per day x 7 days) – Rs. 2,800 Raw materials (Rs. 200 x 10 trainees) – Rs. 2,000 Rent of training center (Rs. 200 per day x 7 days) – Rs. 1,400 Refreshments (Rs. 30 x 10 persons x 7 days) - Rs. 2,100 Total Cost – Rs. 8,300 (to train 10 women for 7 days) Cost to train one women for 7 days – Rs. 830
